Hope you enjoyed the heat today 🌞🥵👙!
If you’ve been down the Avenida this week, you’ve probably realised Lagos is preparing for something BIG… They’ve been painting the street stripes, trimming the palm trees, pimping the roundabout, setting up grandstands (and generally causing havoc ;)… because the President of Portugal🇵🇹 is coming!?
Lagos was chosen as this years host for the 10th of June celebrations, which is kind of a big deal! On Monday and Tuesday expect to see lots more action along the Avenida an out at sea.
And if that wasn’t already enough excitement for the week, the weekend also looks to be huge, with a traditional street party🎊, the outdoor cinema opening 🎬, DJ sets🎛️, bands 🪕, birthday parties 🎉 and more.

💨 Windsurf Festival
Expect to see lots of windsurfers zipping about the Lagos Bay these days, as the Windsurf Festival is on, 7–10 June.
